Shipping Policy

Thank you for choosing Karoo Kleintjie! We are committed to ensuring a smooth and reliable shipping experience for all our customers. Please review our shipping policies outlined below:

Orders are based on the information provided by the customer on the online order form. Please ensure that all the details provided are correct.

  1. Order Processing Time:

    • We strive to process and ship all orders within 1-2 business days after receiving payment, UNLESS when it is a made to order item.  For made to order items, the lead time is approximately 3 - 6 weeks.  These lead times will be communicated directly to you upon receipt of your order.

    • During peak seasons or promotional periods, processing times may be slightly longer, but we will notify you in such cases.​

  2. Shipping Methods and Carriers:

    • We offer various shipping methods, including standard shipping and expedited shipping.

    • The shipping carrier will be determined based on your location and the shipping method chosen at checkout.

    • Our preferred shipping carriers include reputable providers such as The Courier Guy, Pudo, DHL and Postnet.

    • Karoo Kleintjie does not deliver to PO boxes.

  3. Shipping Destinations:

    • We currently offer shipping within South Africa.  We apologize for any inconvenience caused if you reside outside this area.

    • For international customers, please note that additional customs duties, taxes, and fees may apply. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our shipping fees.

  4. Shipping Fees:

    • Shipping fees are calculated based on the total weight of your order, shipping method selected, and destination.

    • You can review the shipping costs during the checkout process before finalizing your order.

  5. Order Tracking:

    • Once your order is shipped, we will provide you with a tracking number via email.

    • You can use this tracking number to monitor the progress of your shipment on the carrier's website.

  6. Delivery Time:

    • Delivery times may vary depending on your location, chosen shipping method, and any unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g., weather conditions, customs delays, etc.).

    • Estimated delivery times will be provided during the checkout process, but please note that these are only estimates and not guaranteed delivery dates.

    • For door to door deliveries:  If the customer is not available at the time of delivery the parcel will be left with someone at the property.

  7. Incorrect or Incomplete Address:

    • It is essential to provide accurate and complete shipping information at the time of order placement.

    • Karoo Kleintjie is not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.

    • Should the shipment not be delivered to you due to reasons beyond Karoo Kleintjie's control ie no-one at the premises, unable to answer calls, invalid on incomplete address, the provider will attempt a second delivery and will make direct contact with you to make arrangements for delivery.  Should the client still be unreachable with the second attempt, the parcel will be returned to Karoo Kleintjie where we will wait for further delivery instructions from the buyer.  We reserve the right to charge for delivery the next time the parcel needs to be dispatched.  The original delivery will not be refunded.

  8. Lost or Damaged Packages:

    • While we take utmost care in packaging and shipping your order, unforeseen circumstances can occur during transit.

    • If your package is lost or arrives damaged, please contact our customer support team immediately. We will work with you to resolve the issue and file a claim with the shipping carrier if necessary.

  9. Order Modifications or Cancellations:

    • If you need to modify or cancel your order after it has been placed, please reach out to us as soon as possible.

    • We will do our best to accommodate your request, but please note that order modifications or cancellations may not be possible if the order has already been processed or shipped.

  10. Returns

  • Should you for any reason not be satisfied with your purchase please notify us within 7 days and we will refund you on return receipt of the parcel.  The refund will exclude the delivery charges and the product needs to be returned in its original condition.

  • Products that have been partially damaged or entirely damaged will not be refunded.​​

11.  Limitation of Liability​

  • Any cost, expense, loss, liability or claim suffered or incurred by the customer arising out of or incurred in connection of any item purchased off www.karookleintjie.com will be limited to the price paid for the item.
